MMR Update #13

Release notes for June 2018 (build 18.6.11). This build contains fixes and enhancements, as well as a complete redesign of the game options dialog.

New

  • 3P and 4P editions of the Lode Runner Extra and The Legend Returns puzzle sets now bundled with the game - special thanks to Tim for making these puzzle sets
  • redesign of the Options Dialog:
    • adjust soundFX and music volumes separately
    • assign keyboard or gamepad to a separate player
    • most game options can now be toggled direct from within the game
  • double-clicking the toolbox border (Editor) will reset the position to the left/right side of screen depending which is closest - this replaces the RhsToolbox option. If the game is full-screen, the toolbox will move outside the puzzle area to give more room to design your puzzles
  • Game Customization dialog updated to match new Options Dialog graphics
  • FNA engine updated to latest release

Fixes

  • players can no longer blast when in the air (ZaRR)
  • fixed Xartanium Pendant giving off light when a runner died (Tim)
  • fixed bug that prevented players blasting a brick on an hand-over-hand bar that is not directly above a brick (007shadow)
  • fixed bug that snapped runners to the tile below after using a pick-axe on a ladder (Ringcaat)
  • fixed bug that allowed players to cross from a ladder when hanging too far off the bottom rung (Ringcaat)
  • fixed wrong puzzle ordering of the 2P Mad Monks' Revenge puzzles in the PRESAGE content folder (Tim)
  • fixed bug that allowed a monk to climb out of a blasted brick immediately after he falls into it (Tim)
  • players no longer 'teleport' to a wall when running on slime covered bricks (Tim)
  • reinstated missing balloon help on various dialogs
  • fixed monks getting stuck falling if an exit ladder appears behind them (RingCaat)
  • pick-axes can no longer be used under slime, trapdoor, and liquid bricks - this behaviour matches the Original game (RingCaat, Tim, How)
  • fixed bug that allowed a monk to fall into a blasted brick already occupied by another monk (Tim)
  • fixed keyboard shortcuts for button controls not working as expected when CTRL key is pressed (Tim)
  • fixed bug that reset game properties when choosing a custom puzzle set to play (online games) (Tim)
  • fixed scrollbar controls accepting input when disabled
  • fixed container controls not enabling child controls correctly
  • fixed scrollbars not incrementing correctly

Known Issues

  • online games crashing when transferring game data (Ubuntu)
  • gamepad feedback keeps going when using more than one controller
  • monks merging when crossing on/off ladders and using ropes
  • switching to windowed mode hides the Dock (Sierra)
  • regen bomb timing does not accurately match the Original
